Rank Requirements

Parents and Leaders can help scouts earn these awards on their own. Attending Cub Scout summer camp helps toward earning these, as does participating in a community service event through the Pack or town.

Individual Awards

Leave No Trace Award

The Leave No Trace Awareness Award helps boys to be more educated and concerned about their environment, and to protect it for the future generations. Scouts earn a patch that is awarded at a Pack meeting. This is an optional award that is done by each boy individually, with the help of his family and/or Den leader.

World Conservation Award

The World Conservation Award is an international award that provides an opportunity for individual Cub Scouts to "think globally" and "act locally" to preserve and improve our environment.

Summertime Activity Award

The Summertime Activity Award can be earned if a scout participates in one Scouting activity each month in the summer: June, July, August, connected to Pack 24. For example, July Fourth of Parade, Colony Pool Day, Summer ropes course, or the Somerset Patriots baseball game.

Cub Scout Outdoor Activity Award

The Cub Scout Outdoor Activity Award can be earned by any Scout who has attended Cub Scout camp, and has completed additional requirements at home with their family. Outdoor skills and fun are a key element of the Cub Scout program.
